Acid Sulfate Soil Hot Spot Remediation Program - Water Quality Monitoring

The Acid Sulfate Soil (ASS) Hot Spot Remediation Program is a component of the NSW Acid Sulfate Soil Strategy. Implementation of the Strategy is overseen by the Acid Sulfate Soil Management Advisory Committee (ASSMAC). The NSW Department of Land and Water Conservation is the lead agency responsible for overseeing the development and implementation and strategies for the remediation of 7 nominated ASS 'hot spots'.

Cudgen Lake, Tweed catchment; Everlasting Swamp, Clarence catchment; Collombatti-Clybucca, Macleay catchment; Upper Maria River, Hastings catchment; Partridge Creek, Hastings catchment; and Lower Lansdowne-Moto-Ghinni Ghinni Creeks, Manning catchment.
